for the Nineteenth Sunday of Ordered Time August 10, 2025
Presider: We are instructed this Sunday to be prepared for the coming of the Lord. As we bring our gifts of support, of petition, and of praise to the Lord’s table, let us be mindful of our needs and the crying needs of the world.

Presider: Father, we offer these petitions to you through your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Be kind and move our stubborn hearts to love what you love and avoid what you despise. Send us the Spirit to remove the stiffness of our necks and to bow in homage to your majesty. This we ask through your Son, Jesus.
