Presider: Trust in the Lord’s great love for us. Let us bring to the Father, through the Son, inspired by the Holy Spirit what troubles us, threatens us, and robs us of peace.

2. That faith in the presence of the Lord in nature, in sacrament, and in the others gathered here may inspire care and always be with us in the world, we pray...

3. That violence and hatred be replaced in our hearts by justice and peace for everyone we encounter, we pray...

4. That persons whose life’s work is personal protection, national security, and healing carry out their work remembering the image and likeness of the Creator abides in those they protect and care for, we pray...

5. That politicians, diplomats, and leaders of nations reject notions of acceptable collateral damage. That they regret warfare depleting natural resources and robbing the world of human talent and their contributions, we pray...

6. That voting in all nations this year be based on careful discernment focusing on the common good, truth, and integrity. That all who are eligible respond to their responsibility to vote and do so, we pray...

Presider: Almighty and ever living God, strengthen our faith, hope, and love. May we do with loving hearts what you ask of us and come to share the life you promise. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
